PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection state confirming circuit capable of visually confirming quality of a connection state of a printed wiring board and a multi-core cable by lighting/non-lighting of a light-emitting diode. SOLUTION: Two core wires out of outside core wires arranged at a outside of the inside of the multi-core cable, arranged on either side of a center are used as a pair of signal wires. On a receptacle for a connector arranged on one of two printed wiring boards, a short-circuiting wire is connected to a pair of terminals to be connected to the signal wires, and a light-emitting diode connected to a pair of terminals to be connected to the pair of signal wires is connected to the receptacle for the connector arranged on the printed circuit board at the other side. When the connectors are connected in a prescribed connection state, a detouring current flows through a bypass circuit of the light-emitting diode formed by the short circuit with the pair of signal wires of the multi-core cable, and it becomes a normal displaying state, with the light-emitting diode turned off.
