PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having improved fitness to the body by making the absorbent article to fit to the blood draining port and the perineum of a woman. SOLUTION: A napkin 1 has an absorber having a central high part 6 whose thickness is increased on an use surface side at the center of the width direction, and embosses 8 arranged on both sides of the central high part 6 and extending approximately in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. Each of the right and left pair of embosses 8 has a first expanding shaped emboss 8c, a middle arcuate emboss 8d, and a second expanding shaped emboss 8e. The first expanding shape emboss is formed from a curve having a center of curvature on the center side of the napkin 1 so that an expanding region having a wider space between the emboss lines is formed. The middle arcuate emboss extends from the rear side of the first expanding shaped emboss 8c and is formed from a curve having a center of curvature on the outer side of the napkin 1.
