PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing device which enables a user to specify the recording medium of a moving destination even when a part of contents is moved to the other recording medium. SOLUTION: The recording/reproducing device is provided with a moving destination information generation part 73a for generating moving destination information to specify the moving destination of the moving part of contents, and a movement processing part 72a for moving the moving part to a second recording medium, correlating it with residual contents constituted of a residual part left in a first recording medium 2a, and recording the moving destination information in the first recording medium 2a.
