PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually urge a camera shake warning by effectively using a display function. SOLUTION: A response speed to an LCD is lowered (106) by controlling an applied voltage so as to temporarily stop or relax a rise and a fall in voltage applied to the LCD at the time of determining a camera shake to find the occurrence of the camera shake (100 to 104), and the occurrence of the camera shake is emphasized by generating an after-image in a through image displayed on the LCD. In addition, a focal distance and a shutter speed are used to make camera shake determination as camera shake determination because a probability that the camera shake occurs is changed by the focal distance and the shutter speed.
