An LCD is provided to prevent detachment of a unit for controlling a viewing angle by mounting a VAC(Viewing Angle Control) panel at an LCD panel. A LCD panel(300) displays an image. A VAC panel(200) is bonded with the LCD panel and controls a viewing angle. The LCD panel includes a first substrate(201) which is a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array substrate, a second substrate(211) which is a color filter array substrate facing the TFT array substrate. A first liquid crystal layer(210) is formed between the first substrate and the second substrate. A VAC panel includes a third substrate(301) including a first transparent conductive layer(302), a fourth substrate(311) including a second transparent conductive layer(312) facing the third substrate, and a second liquid crystal layer(310) formed between the third substrate and the fourth substrate. |
