The invention relates to a method for the heat treatment of boreholes (3) and channels in workpieces (1), said borehole (3) or channel being surrounded by a wall (7) and comprising at least two openings. According to the invention, the wall (7) of the borehole (3) or the channel is first heated to a pre-defined temperature and then cooled. A coolant is guided through the borehole (3) or the channel for cooling purposes. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out said method, said device comprising a supply line (9) through which the coolant can be supplied to the borehole (3) or the channel. A connection device is associated with the supply line (9) and can be used to fix the supply line to an opening (13) of the borehole (3) or the channel, and a first valve (17) for closing the supply line is provided in the supply line (9). |
