<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which continuation of user setting can be quickly resumed by enabling a user to quickly understand to what extent the user setting has been performed before auto-clearing execution when setting of the device is returned to the user setting after auto-clearing execution. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: storing means for storing setting contents of the user setting; an auto-clearing means for resetting the setting of the device to prescribed standard setting when a prescribed time elapses in a state where operation by a user does not exist during the user setting; an auto-clearing release means for returning the setting of the device from standard setting to the user setting based on operation of the user after the auto-clearing means is executed; and a display means for displaying items of the user setting before the auto-clearing means is executed in a type different from items of the standard setting when the auto-clearing release means is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
