<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical energy transfer element allowing a photosystem complex to be stably retained and permitting an increase in area with high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An optical energy transfer element 1 has a plurality of micropores 12 inside. To a dielectric base material 11 with a plurality of micropores 12 opened at least on the surface 11s of a base material, there are fixed a plurality of micro-metal bodies 20 comprising a filling section 21 filling the inside of the micropores 12 of the dielectric base material 11 and a projecting section 22 formed on the filling section 21 to project from the surface 11s of the base material with a diameter larger than that of the filling section 21 and having the size of inducing localized plasmon. On the surface of the projecting section 22 of a plurality of micro-metal bodies 20, there is formed a photosystem complex 30 comprising an energy donor 30D and an energy acceptor 30A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
