PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric tool capable of effectively performing an operation at a dark place by effectively lighting a location to be lightened in a simple structure without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: In the electric tool housing a motor and a power transmission mechanism for transmitting power of the motor to a head tool in a housing 6, a LED light 25 is arranged on the side of the housing 6 in such a direction that its center axis L faces to the head tool. The housing 6 is horizontally divided into two-split structure, a part of a case housing the power transmission mechanism is fitted into the head of the housing 6, wiring of the LED light 25 is passed through a recessed section of a bush, and the LED light 25 is fixed by putting the bushing between the housing 6 and the case.
