PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating device of a sewing machine which is capable of maintaining the performance of holding grease for lubrication over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The lubricating device of the sewing machine includes: a needle bar connecting rod 14 fixed to a needle bar 7; a square bridge 16 guided so as to be freely elevated and lowered by a vertical groove part 21a on the side of a sewing machine frame; a grease housing part 13; an annular first elastic member 18 externally fitted on a needle bar connecting rod shaft part 15 in the order from the side of an annular part 12 between the needle bar connecting rod 14 and the left end of the annular part 12 and composed of a first washer 17 and nonwoven fabric; and an annular second elastic member 20 externally fitted to the needle bar connecting rod shaft part 15 in the order from the side of the annular part 12 between the square bridge 16 and the right end of the annular part 12 and formed of a second washer 19 and the nonwoven fabric.
