Provided is a fuel cell system which can be appropriately applied to modification of an operation point of a fuel cell during a low-efficiency generation. The fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell which generates electricity by supplying a reaction gas; an air compressor which adjusts the flow rate of the reaction gas supplied to the fuel cell; and a control device which controls the output current of the fuel cell by controlling the compressor and modifies the operation point of the fuel cell. When modifying the operation point of the fuel cell in a low-efficiency generation region having a large power loss as compared to a normal generation, a limit is set to at least one of the current change amount and the voltage change amount per unit time. |
