The present invention provides a fusing machine, comprising: a loading unit (20) including a commutator (6) placed on the outer circumferential surface of an axis (4), which supplies work (2) hung on a hook (7) of the commutator (6); an index unit (30) to grip the work (2) supplied by the loading unit (20) and to rotate the work (2) for a certain pitch when welding a coil (8) on the commutator (6), wherein the coil (8) is hung on the hook (7); and an electrode unit (40) to perform electric welding of the hook (7) and the coil (8) by an electrode (42) while contacting the hook (7) placed in the commutator (6) of the work (2). The electrode (42) has a concave groove (44) on the front end unit facing the hook (7) of the work (2). The hook (7) is inserted into the concave groove (44) for welding to be done with the hook (7) contacting an internal surface of the concave groove (44). The fusing machine of the present invention is made to perform: a position control to set a position when the work (2) moves toward a collet (33) of the index unit (30); an interpolate control to control the position of one or more pairs of electrodes (42) placed near the outer circumferential surface of the work (2) with the work (2) gripped by the collet; and a torque control to control the force of a front end unit of the electrodes (42) to pressurize and stick to the hooks (7) of the work (2). The present invention aims to provide a new fusing machine to settle those issues of too much maintenance required and a reduced service life. |
