PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zigzag-folded laminate structure of a secondary battery that can suppress excessive temperature increase even when a large foreign matter such as a peg or the like sticks to induce internal short-circuiting, and thus is excellent in safety, and a battery module comprising the zig-zag folded laminate structure.SOLUTION: A zig-zag laminate structure (A) of a secondary battery is configured by interposing plural positive electrode plates (1) each containing a positive electrode active material and plural negative electrode plates (2) each containing a negative electrode active material in a zig-zag folded separator (3). The separator has plural projection portions (32) projecting from the positive electrode plates and the negative electrode plates, and at least a part of the projection portion has a stress fracture portion (4) having smaller tensile fracture strength than the remaining portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
