PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a gateway accompanying communication between a device inside a network and a device outside the network compared with a prior art.SOLUTION: A cloud server 21 outside a local area network 1 requests an image forming apparatus 10 to establish connection between the image forming apparatus 10 and the cloud server 21 via a tunnel between a gateway 16 and the cloud server 21. The image forming apparatus 10 establishes the connection. The cloud server 21 disconnects the tunnel after the request.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
