PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL display device including a plasmonic structure, in which color mixture between pixels adjacent to each other can be minimized.SOLUTION: In an EL display device, a cathode layer 16 includes, to a surface in contact with an EL layer, a plasmonic structure where the most frequent pitch is set so as to excite plasmonic light included in a wavelength band of light emitted from the EL layer. In a height direction with reference to cathode layers 14R, 14G, a side surface 40S of a pixel defining wall 40 is covered partly with the EL layer in the height direction on the side surface 40S, and the height of the pixel defining wall 40 is higher than the height of the EL layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
