This settlement device is provided with: an acquisition unit for acquiring settlement information related to products registered by a product registration device; a detection unit for detecting a prescribed operation; and a control unit which, as a result of the prescribed operation detected by the detection unit, executes settlement processing based on the settlement information acquired by the acquisition unit. A detection means further detects another prescribed operation which is related to the flow of the settlement processing, and which is different to the abovementioned prescribed operation. In cases when the other prescribed operation is detected by the detection means, a control means displays, on a display, a screen which is not displayed in the settlement processing. |
