<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable writing utensil capable of preventing ink in an ink tank from evaporating from a gas passage even when stored under a pen point sunken state for a long period of time, and in addition, preventing the ink from leaking outside through the gas passage even when the pressure in the ink tank is elevated under the pen point sunken state. <P>SOLUTION: A writing body 3 is stored in a shaft cylinder 2 under a back energized condition so as to be movable in the back and forth direction, and the pen point 5 of the writing body 3 is constituted so as to be retractable from the tip hole 21 of the shaft cylinder 21. The writing body 3 is equipped with the pen point 5, the ink tank 41 directly storing the ink, an ink holding member 6 arranged between the pen point 5 and the ink tank 41 and for temporarily holding the overflowing ink accompanied with increase in the inner pressure of the ink tank 41, and the gas passage 7 communicating with the inside of the ink tank 41 and the open air. A sealing device 81 which closes the gas passage 7 when the pen point is sunk and intercepts communication with the inside of the ink tank 41 and the open air, and opens the gas passage 7 when the pen point is projected, and communicates the inside of the ink tank 41 with the open air, is equipped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
