A display device and a grating control method therefor, which relate to the technical field of display, and can overcome problems of high manufacturing precision and high process difficulty of an electrode of a grating substrate caused by arrangement of a pixel array. The display device at least comprises a pixel array and a grating. An odd-row sub-pixel and an adjacent even-row sub-pixel of the pixel array are staggered vertically by a preset length. A first substrate of the grating comprises multiple electrodes. Consecutive sections of each electrode are staggered by a preset length one by one from one end of the electrode to the other end. Because the arrange manner of the pixels is corresponding to the arrange manner of the grating, the width of the electrode of the grating substrate is increased, the manufacturing precision requirement of the electrode is low and the process difficulty is low. By turning off or turning off the gating, switching can be performed between 2D display and 3D display of the display device.
