PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten conveyance time of an optical disk medium.SOLUTION: An optical disk library device comprises: a plurality of medium storage units 2R and 2L that stores an optical disk medium 100 having a record reproduction face provided on either face; a plurality of record reproduction units 3R and 3L that records data in the optical disk medium, and reproduces the data recorded in the optical disk medium; data processing units 4R and 4L that implement arbitrary processing to the data reproduced by the record reproduction unit; and a medium conveyance holding unit 6 that conveys the optical disk medium to an arbitrary location. Each medium storage unit is separately disposed in one and other with respect to a movement axis AX6 of the medium conveyance unit. Each record reproduction unit is separated to one and other with respect to the movement axis of the medium conveyance unit, and is disposed alternately and oppositely disposed in the one and other.
