<p>A tool for inserting screws into portions of a fractured jawbone, with a pair of jaws (4) carrying sleeves (9) which position and insert the two screws (10), has a further sleeve (12) attached to each jaw, alongside the first sleeve (9). This carries a sliding sleeve (17) with a spring (18) between which exerts pressure against an adjusting screw (19) inside so that a spindle (13) with a roller (16) on its end can be set a suitable distance from the point of insertion of the screw so that the tool can be manipulated to align the portion of jawbone at the correct angle for the insertion.</p> |
