PURPOSE:To ensure that an inverted black/white image can easily be formed on an image display sheet, in an image formation/deletion device which forms and deletes an image on an image display sheet which discolors reversibly due to a temperature change. CONSTITUTION:An image inversion means 27 sets the thermal temperature of either of a heater 23 or a thermal head 24 located on a sheet transport path 19 to a color development initiation temperature, and at the same time, sets the thermal temperature of the other to a color discharge temperature. In addition, forming an image by allowing an entirely color-discharged image display sheet 14 to become colored partially or by allowing an entirely colored image display sheet to become color-discharged partially, is performed using the image inversion means 27. |
