<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system and an AC power supply method by which AC power can be supplied to a common power consumption part from a plurality of electric vehicles which can supply AC power. <P>SOLUTION: When vehicles 2, 3 and 4 receive supply start instructions, they transmit identification ID showing themselves to other vehicles (sequences SQ12, SQ14 and SQ16). The vehicle 2 which is decided to be a master gives master notification to the vehicles 3 and 4 (sequence SQ20), and starts the generation of an AC voltage following a self-period (sequence SQ22). The vehicles 3 and 4 generate AC currents synchronized with voltage references (sequences SQ26a and SQ26b) with AC voltages that the vehicle 2 generates as the voltage references.
