PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording material with not only excellent chemical resistance, but also excellent sticking resistance, being inexpensive and excellent quality of image. CONSTITUTION:In a heat-sensitive recording material wherein a heat-sensitive recording layer contg. an electron-donative dye precursor and an electron- receptive compd. and a protective layer are successively provided on a substrate, at least 2,2'-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane and/or 4-hydroxy-4'-isopropoxy-diphenyl sulfone with 0.5-1.0g/m<2> are incorporated as the electron-receptive compd. and the protective layer is a layer prepd. by applying 0.2-0.8g/m<2> self-crosslinkable acrylic resin. In addition, the heat-sensitive recording material is provided by preparing at least the protective layer by coating and drying by means of a free-falling curtain coating method. |
