<p>PURPOSE: To renovate a door frame rapidly by providing a first renovation member fixed to the existing door stop jamb, a second renovation member fixed to the first renovation member in a detachable manner and opposed a door 2 and a lock receiver to the renovated door frame. CONSTITUTION: An earthquake resisting renovated door frame is equipped with a first renovation member 3 fixed to the existing door stop jamb Fb, a second renovation member 4 fixed to the renovation member 3 in a detachable manner and opposed to a door 2, and a lock receiver 5 housing dead bolt 17, etc., loaded to the renovation member 4 and projected from the door 2 and, formed in response to the movement of the door through earthquake, etc., in a deformable manner by ensuring specific distance L between the door stop side end face of the door 2 and renovation member 4. Then, after the existing door is removed from a door frame Fa, the renovation member 3 is mounted to the existing jamb Fb, the renovation members 3 and 4 are fixed by means of a tap hole, and the lock receiver 5 is loaded to the renovation member 4 to hang the new door 2 in the door frame Fa. By the constitution, the door frame can be renovated only by work of the door stop side, the renovation can be executed rapidly.</p> |
