SUBMERSIBLE STIRRING AERATOR

PURPOSE: To provide a submersible stirring aerator in which local variance of oxygen dissolution efficiency inside an aeration tank is prevented from being caused. CONSTITUTION: A submersible stirring aerator is constituted of a submersible motor 11, a water conveying impeller 14 forming a downward current and an air diffusion cone 34 which is fitted to the lower part of the water conveying impeller 14 and consists of a tilting part and a hanging part. The submersible stirring aerator is provided with the body part 37a which surrounds the water conveying impeller 14 and forms a first current path 40, an outer sheath body 35 equipped with a tilting part 37b extended to the lower part of the body part 37a and a baseplate 66 for forming an air flow path 62 between the air diffusion cone 34 and the baseplate 44 and forming a second current path 41 between the tilting part 37b and it. An annular weir part 47 is formed in the outer part in the diametral direction of the hanging part and an annular air- blowing out nozzle 48 is formed. Since air is blown out upward and water to be treated is allowed to flow downward, the blown out air is formed into fine particles.
