PURPOSE: To provide a recording device in which printing is performed on both sides of recording paper by using two recording means and color shift is small and card board may be used as recording paper. CONSTITUTION: A recording device is provided with a feeding mechanism 62, a first recording means provided on the downstream side from the feeding mechanism 62 in the conveyance direction of a medium 33, a second recording means provided on the downstream side from the first recording means in the conveyance direction of the medium 33, a guide passage 83 provided in parallel with the second recording means on the downstream side from the first recording means in the conveyance direction of the medium 33 and a discharge stacker part 46 provided on the downstream side from the second recording means in the conveyance direction of the medium 33. Furthermore, the recording device is provided with a medium travel changeover means which is freely changed over and provided on the downstream side from the first recording means in the conveyance direction of the medium 33 and on the upstream side from the second recording means and the guide passage 83 and guides the medium 33 conveyed from the upstream side to either of the second recording means and the guide passage 83. |
