PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester combined filament yarn superior to a conventional polyester yarn for clothes in the points that it has dry feeling together with water susceptibility and, at the same time, having silky feeling capable of expressing appropriate springiness, body feeling and bulkiness. CONSTITUTION: This combined filament yarn is produced by blending a hollow conjugate fiber (A) and a polyester high-shrinking fiber (B). The hollow conjugate fiber (A) has the following features. The fiber has three or more than three of strip-shaped dents 2 along the outer periphery of a fiber cross section. An easily soluble component having a dissolution speed >=10 times that of the component constituting a polyester fiber fills the dents 2 and is connected to the dents 2. The dent 2 has a width of 0.5-2 micron and a depth of 2-10 micron. The hollow percentage of the fiber is 5-20%. Dry-heat shrinkage at 160 deg.C is-10 to 0%. On the other hand, the polyester high-shrinking fiber (B) has the dry-heat shrinkage of 10-30% at 160 deg.C. |
