PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for adsorbing and filtering an harmful material in a contaminated fluid such as a flue gas by utilizing a polysaccharide solution containing a large quantity of a carbohydrate and a naturally produced porous volcanic pumice clay such as a dry KANUMA pumice soil or the like. SOLUTION: The porous volcanic pumice clay 2 is dipped into the polysaccharide solution containing a large quantity of the carbohydrate to sufficiently adsorb the polysaccharide solution and after the excess solution is removed, a plurality of the same are piled up in a thickness not to disturb the penetration of air in the up and down direction in a combustion furnace and are burnt from the lower layer part while supplying oxygen. In the combustion process, the evaporation of water portion and the carbonization of the sugar portion in the polysaccharide solution adsorbed in the pore is accelerated and after the whole layer is red heated, the combustion is stopped and the porous volcanic pumice clay is transferred from the combustion furnace to a closed vessel to be cut off from supplied oxygen and after the carbonization is finished, sealed in a free volume sized casing 4 having ventilating function and is existed in a flow passage of the contaminated fluid. The porous volcanic pumice clay is applied for the contaminated fluid of various fields to be purified and deodorized.
|
