PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the accurate adjustment of a carrier frequency and control over symbol timing while reducing the power consumption. SOLUTION: A SAW chirp filter 29 is provided as a passive correlator which performs collation with an inputted chirp signal by a proper matching filter such as a surface acoustic wave filter. The SAW chirp filter 29 stores one fixed code of a specific synchronizing burst signal and outputs each correlation peak each time a corresponding specific synchronizing burst signal is received to adjust the carrier frequency and/or control the symbol timing and/or electric power in the radio frequency reception device.
