<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of necessary switches by adopting coupled crossbar switches as a communication mechanism. SOLUTION: Two systems of crossbar switch connections, namely an A system 50 and a B system 60, are provided for connecting output ends 100, 101,...,133 and input ends 200, 201,...,233 of computers, namely processing elements(PE). Crossbar switches 10 to 13 and 30 to 33 of the 1st stages of the respective systems are connected to all the crossbar switches 20 to 23 and 40 to 43 of the 2nd stages. The PEs which belong to the same group are connected to the same crossbar switches of the A system 50. The PEs connected to the same crossbar switches of the A system 50 are connected to different crossbar switches in the B system 60.</p> |
