PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate undesired motion of a seat part when the interior of an automobile is submerged by providing an on-vehicle power seat device with a submergence detecting circuit. SOLUTION: This submergence detecting on-vehicle power seat device is provided with a driver's seat face-forward moving switch 3F and a driver's seat face-backward moving switch 3B, a forward moving relay 4F driven by the operation of the seat face forward moving switch 3F, a backward moving relay 4B driven by the operation of the seat face backward moving switch 3B, a motor 7 rotated in one direction of move the driver's seat face forward when driving the forward moving relay 4F, and rotated in the other direction to move the driver's seat face backward when driving the backward moving relay 4B, and a submergence detecting circuit 2 having a submergence detector 14. The submergence detecting circuit 2 drives the forward moving relay 4F and backward moving relay 4B simultaneously, when the submergence detector 14 detects submergence, and supplies source voltage (B+) to both terminals of the motor 7.
