PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing tube for a joint part of a pipe and method for fixing it capable of easily fixing the joint part of the pipe to a joint or another pipe with a shape restoring function. SOLUTION: This fixing tube is made of a resin component C containing ethylene.α-olefin.nonconjugate polyene copolymer rubber A consisting of ethylene, 3-20Cα-olefin with and nonconjgate polyene and thermoplastic resin B. In this fixing method, the tube molded so as to have smaller inner diameter than the minimum outer diameter of the pipe and the joint forming the joint part is heated to a temperature of melting point or softening point of the thermoplastic resin B or higher to expand the diameter of the tube so as to have larger inner diameter than the maximum outer diameter of the joint part, followed by cooling and shaping to mount to the outside of the joint part so as to cover a seam of the joint part in the tube, and then heated to the temperature of the melting point or the softening point of the thermoplastic resin B or higher to contract the diameter of the tube so as to closely adhere the tube to the joint part.
