PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel enabling high operation reliability and high quality display. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel comprises a back substrate 11 and a front substrate 21, which face each other; a plurality of address electrodes 12 formed on the back substrate 11 in parallel with specified spaces therebetween; a white dielectric layer 13 formed on the back substrate 11 for covering the address electrodes 12; a plurality of transparent electrodes 22 formed on the front substrate 21 so as to be orthogonal to the address electrodes 12; a transparent dielectric layer 24 formed on the front substrate 21 for covering the transparent electrodes 22; ribs 14 and spacers 25 for regulating the spaces between the back substrate 11 and the front substrate 21; and a phosphor layer 15 formed on the back substrate 11 for radiating a light of a prescribed wavelength by being excited. The white dielectric layer 13 and the transparent dielectric layer 24, each contains a filler having a particle diameter of 30 to 60% of the thickness of each layer for maintaining their shapes.
