DISHWASHER FOR IMPROVING USER'S CONVENIENCE IN THE USE BY MAKING A WASH TUB FORCIBLY FITTED INTO A RECEIVING POSITION WITH LIGHT STRENGTH

PURPOSE: A dishwasher is provided to forcibly fit a wash tub into a receiving position with light strength without lowering an inner cover. CONSTITUTION: A dishwasher has a position sensor(40) detecting a wash tub(23) is in a receiving position, and an actuator(52) lowering an inner cover(42) if the position sensor detects the wash tub is received in the receiving position. An elastic body is arranged to a part of an inner cover-opening and closing mechanism converting the motion of the actuator into vertical motion of the inner cover. The strength given to the inner cover by the actuator is absorbed by the elastic body. The dishwasher has a unit for preventing the wash tub from being withdrawn from the receiving position while the inner cover is lowered.
