PURPOSE: A noise reducing device of a reciprocating compressor is provided to insulate vibration from pressure pulsation of refrigerant gas, and to reduce noise from pulsation by forming an expansion pipe between a loop pipe and a gas discharge pipe or in the middle of the gas discharge pipe or mounting a Helmholtz resonator in the middle of the gas discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION: A noise reducing device of a reciprocating compressor comprises a casing(10) containing a compression body sucking, compressing and discharging refrigerant gas by linearly reciprocating a mover and a piston combined with the mover, a loop pipe(60) connected to the discharge part of the compressor body to guide refrigerant gas, a gas discharge pipe(70) combined with the casing by penetrating and connected to the loop pipe and a refrigerant pipe of a refrigerating cycle unit, and an expansion connection pipe(100) having an expansion part and connecting the loop pipe to the gas discharge pipe.
