PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ejection mechanism with which the thinning of the main body of a device can be attained and a smooth loading can be performed by reducing load to be applied to a slider. SOLUTION: The ejection mechanism is equipped with an ejection lever 147 which is provided on a chassis 9 becoming a fixed part to be rotatable and ejects a recording medium cartridge 5 by pressurizing it, a twisting coil spring 148 which energizes the rotation of the ejection lever 147 to the ejecting direction of the recording medium cartridge 5 and a slider 8 which is supported to the chassis 9 to be slidable and regulates the rotation of the ejection lever 147 by being engaged with the ejection lever 147. Moreover, one end of the twisting coil spring 148 is locked to the chassis 9 and the other end is engaged with the ejection lever 147. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
