PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method and apparatus for generating meta data for displaying two contents associating with each other, and for displaying the two contents associating with each other by using the generated meta data. SOLUTION: Second contents are displayed according to the display of first contents, and meta data are generated by specifying those respective contents, and associating the display of the second contents with the display of the first contents based on a time stamp. Also, the meta data obtained by specifying those respective contents, and associating the display of the second contents with the display of the first contents based on the time stamp are used so that the second contents are displayed associating with the display of the first contents.
