PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fallen person detection device giving an alarm to prevent the fall by detecting a person possibly falling from a platform onto a track in advance, and rapidly detecting the person fallen on the track. SOLUTION: A sensor unit 2 radiates the millimeter wave into the sky over a platform 9 and a track 10 in a station yard, receives the reflected wave from a reflecting object, and calculates the reflection intensity from each reflecting object from the received reflected wave, and the size and the position of each reflecting object. An alarm control device 3 determines that a person as a reflecting object can possibly fall from the platform 9 when the reflecting object reaches a platform fall detection surface S1 perpendicularly provided on the platform 9 on the inner side from an end along the track 10 of the platform 9 by a predetermined distance, and determines the person has fallen from the platform 9 when the reflecting object exceeds a track surface fall detection surface S2 parallel the track surface from the end along the track 10 of the platform 9.
