A method and an apparatus for processing a photographed image are provided to insert and storage photographing information automatically during an image photographing process by pre-storing the photographing information corresponding to an image which will be photographed, thereby omitting a special edit process after photographing the image. A method for processing a photographed image comprises the following steps of: storing inputted photographing information; generating image information corresponding to an external image; and storing the generated image information according to a preset storage mode. The preset storage mode is a mode for matching the image information with the photographing information and automatically storing the matched information according to a storage order of the photographing information and a generation order of the image information. A digital apparatus(100) for implementing the method includes a camera unit(210), a key input unit(220), a display unit(230), a memory unit(240), an interface unit(250), a transceiving unit(260) and a controller, and creates image information corresponding to an external image by driving the camera unit when an image photographing command is inputted from a user. In addition, the digital apparatus matches the created image information with stored photographing image, and automatically stores the matched information.
