A safety opening/closing apparatus of a screen door is provided to allow passengers to escape to a platform by opening a safety door installed in the screen door when the safety door is not operated by a controller. A safety opening/closing apparatus of a screen door comprises a support billet(20), an operating member, a tensile spring(28), a solenoid valve(40) and a manual operating portion. The support billet is provided with a fixed portion(22) in one side, a body portion(24) upwardly extended from the fixed portion, and an inclined portion(26) extended so as to have a predetermined angle with respect to the body portion. The operating member is coupled to the support billet so as to be rotated, and provided with a locking groove with a 'U' shape in one end. The tensile spring is respectively connected to the inclined portion of the support billet and the operating member, and allows the locking groove to be tensile downwardly. The solenoid valve is fixed to the body portion of the support billet, and operated by a signal of a controller. The manual operating portion pulls an opposite side of the locking groove downwardly so as to allow the locking groove of the operating member to face upwardly.
