A throttle device for a vehicle is provided to prevent stop phenomenon of an engine by supplying a predetermined amount of air to a combustor through an opening space during limp home. A throttle device for a vehicle comprises a throttle body(100) and a spring(400) arranged at the front end of a throttle shaft(300). The throttle body has one side at which a fixing protrusion(130) is formed. A spring guide plate(500) rotates at the front end of the throttle shaft and has a spring hook(510) to which one end of the spring is fixed. A spring fixing bar(600) rotates at the front end of the throttle shaft and has a spring hook to which the other end of the spring is fixed. A rotating gear(700) is coupled with the front end of the throttle shaft and is connected with a driving section to transfer power. Fist and second locking members(520,620) are formed at the peripheral surfaces of the spring guide plate and the spring fixing bar to maintain an opening state of a throttle valve, respectively.
