A spray gun (1) and a detachable liquid reservoir (2), the spray gun (1) having integral connector means arranged for engagement with co-operating connector means on the reservoir (2) by means of which the reservoir (2) is releasably secured to the spray gun (1). The reservoir (2) comprises a container (8) and a lid (1110), the lid (1110) comprising an integral spout (1015;1115) for direct connection to a socket (621) of the spray gun (1). The spout (1015;1115) has a cylindrical portion (1080a) provided with a helical projection (1080d) forming said co-operating connector means, an externally threaded portion (1080g), and another cylindrical portion (1080b). A stop in the form of an abutment at one end of the helical projection (1080d) is provided to limit rotation of the spout (1015;1115) relative to the socket (621).
