The invention relates to a tubing unit (10) for exchanging materials between at least two fluids and comprising a number of adjacent tubes (16) made of a permeable material. The tubes (16) serve to accommodate at least one fluid (20) which flows through the tubes (16) from a first tubing unit end (11) to a second tubing end (12). The tubes (16) each have a longitudinal axis (5) extending from a tube entry (17) to a tube outlet (19). Connecting elements (18) are arranged between at least two adjacent tubes (16), are connected to the tubes (16) at an angle to the longitudinal axis (5) of the tubes (16), and comprise a connecting cross-section (22) through which at least one fluid (20) can flow. By using connecting elements (18), the exchange of materials in the tubing unit (10) of the above-mentioned design, i.e. the tubes and their configuration, can be considerably enhanced.
