PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly configure a guide route in a guidance to a destination through a plurality of particular stop-off points defined by a user. SOLUTION: A car navigation apparatus 1 comprises a controller 2, a position detector 3, a map database 4, a display 5, a speaker 5a, and an external memory 10. The external memory 10 stores the particular points, and an intra-group route. The controller 2 makes a plurality of the particular points to belong to an arbitrary group, configures the group with a start point and an end point, and calculates a route between the start point and the end point. The controller 2 calculates a first route from a departure place to the start point, and a second route from the end point to the destination, combines the intra-group route stored in the external memory 10, and configures the route through the particular points.
