PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge capable of preventing air and bubbles from mixing into a space formed in an ink feeding opening side regardless of the residual amount of ink. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 10 is equipped with a main body 100 constituted of a frame part 110. The frame part 110 is equipped with a valve storing room 120 for storing an ink feeding valve 200 and an ink feeding room 175 adjoining its back side. The ink feeding room 175 is separated from an ink room 170 by a bulkhead 177. A communicating hole 182 is provided in the bulkhead 177.
