SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REGISTRATION BETWEEN AN ULTRASOUND IMAGE AND A CT IMAGE

PURPOSE: A system and a method for registration between an ultrasonic image and a CT image are provided to obtain the image in real time by correcting the movement of a probe and the ultrasonic image in real time. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic image forming unit(110) forms a first ultrasonic image of an object for a first preset cycle successively. A CT image forming unit(120) forms a CT(Computerized tomography) image of the object at one point among the first preset cycle. A registration unit(130) forms the ultrasonic-CT registration image. A storage(140) stores the ultrasonic-CT registration image. A display unit(160) displays the searched ultrasonic-CT registration image with the second ultrasonic image. The ultrasonic image forming unit forms a plurality of second ultrasonic images of the object for the second preset cycle.
