FIELD: information technology.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video coding, in particular to use of the deblocking filter for high-efficiency video coding (HEVC) standard. Disclosed are methods of encoding video data, which comprise coding a plurality of blocks of video data, wherein at least one unit of plurality of blocks of video data are encoded using an encoding mode, which is either an intra pulse code modulation (IPCM) coding mode or a lossless coding mode, including using prediction.
