The present invention relates to a device to generate a Lamb wave using a plate-shaped waveguide. According to the present invention, the device is characterized by comprising: an ultrasound transducer which generates an ultrasound; a wedge on which the generated ultrasound is incident as a symmetrical mode Lamb wave; and a waveguide which includes a front and a rear surface, each of which includes asymmetrically-formed slits respectively, wherein the waveguide converts the symmetrical mode Lamb wave to an anti-symmetrical mode Lamb wave and propagates the anti-symmetrical mode Lamb wave. According to the present invention, it is possible to generate a zero-order anti-symmetrical mode Lamb wave at high efficiency in a waveguide sensor device which has a simple structure and uses a solid wedge. |
