Provided are a recombinant vector including a malate dehydrogenase gene; a recombinant cell in which the overexpression of an MDH2 gene is induced; a composition used to produce a target polypeptide, which includes the recombinant vector or the recombinant cell; and a production method of a target polypeptide using the recombinant vector or the recombinant cell. The recombinant vector and the recombinant cell can be practically used to massively produce various therapeutic proteins. The production method of a target polypeptide comprises the following step: cultivating a recombinant cell in which overexpression of an MDH2 gene is induced.
