PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for a vessel that has superior external appearance.SOLUTION: There is provided a steel sheet for a vessel comprising a plated steel sheet having at least part of its surface covered with a plating layer and a coating arranged on a surface of the plated steel sheet on the side of the plating layer, the steel sheet for a vessel having a tin oxide film containing tin oxide between the plating layer and coating. Here, the quantity of electricity needed to reduce the tin oxide is 2.0 to 5.0 mC/cm, the coating contains Ti, and a sticking amount for one surface of the plated steel plate is 2.5 to 30.0 mg/min terms of Ti. In an atom concentration distribution in a depth direction from a surface of the coating, (1) 0≤X(=L×A)≤60 holds for the product X of a depth L (unit: nm) at which an atom concentration of zero-valent Sn equals 25% of an atom concentration of zero-valent Sn of the plating layer and an average atom concentration A (unit: atom%) of zero-valent Sn up to the depth L from the surface of the coating.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
